You know I like to make crochet baskets so much as It cames me easy..:))

Hi my dear friends,
Happy Friday to all my dear friends. I want to show my crochet granny square blanket..:))
Actually I finished this blanket last year and I don't use. I keep the blanket for my daughter..:)) I made this my my daughter and when she is getting merried I will give this big crochet blanket to my daughter.. I don't know how I could explain this but, In our tradition, When our daughters are getting merried, Her family gives her dower (dowry-merriage portion or something else like this) Some gifts from her family..
This crochet blanket may be a good gift for her...:))

I and my mother made this blanket together and It took so long time to finish.. But finally I think its beautiful..
And I want to show some pictures about our summer holiday arrangements tomorrow.. I and my daughter will go to summer holiday on Sunday.. Of course my daughter is so so happy to be with me.
But there is some bad news..My brother can't come near my mother as he has hard works.. I am very anxious for my mother as she must stay alone for one week. How will she stay alone with all pets? I don't know.. She has some illnesses.. I pray God she can manage by herself and with all pets..
Ohhhh I pray God...

Crochet blanket is growing slowly...

Hi all my dear friends, This is a very happy Sunday. Happy for me as I am near my family.. I want to show the crochet blanket of my mother.. She is making a small crochet blanket. Here is the photos of blanket..

In this afternoon, I and my daughter will go to a big mall. We are planning to go to movie of Ice Age: Continental Drift

Hi my dear friends,

This is a very sunny sunday. The weather is so hot. We are all at home. My brother came here to visit my mother for this weekend. So we are all together again..
Today is Father's Day.. My father died at 1999. No matter.. My brother is here and our very amall family are together..
Happy Father's Day to all my blogging friends..
I want to show granny crochet blanket.. No no I didn't make, My mother made it for my daughter's bed.. I think this is a Taa-Daah moment but not for me.. For my mother...:)))

This is my daughter's bedroom.. And her bed with her new crochet blanket..:))

Actually this room was my bedroom for years and years. When I was married, of course I had to go another home with my ex husband.. But after I divorced, I returned near my family with my daughter. And this home is again my home.. But some differences. Now my daughter is teenager and this bedroom is her room of course... I have so good memories in this room because all my childhood and teenage times passed in this room. Collage years, university years all passed here.. Good memories were finished with my marriage..:))

My daughter made turkish coffee to all of us. I will drink my coffee now..
This is a turkish version of coffee. The cups of this kind of coffee are so small. And first you must drink a small glass of water very quickly, then you must drink your coffee..
This is a kind of strange tradition.. It is believed that you enjoy your coffee much more If you drink water first..

When you finished your coffee you must turn down your coffee cup and you must wait for a few minutes..

And finally after a few minutes later, You must turn up your coffee cup again.. And... Now..
I am a Fortune Teller...:)))
I will say your future by looking at the images in your coffee cup...
Yes that is strange but true...
This is a tradition in Turkey.. Of course everybody can't tell the fortune..
And I must say I never believe this...
God knows only...
But this is a tradition...

Look at Goldie, She is so curious about my fortune.. She will learn this and she will tell our fortune by looking at our coffee cups in a very short time..:)))

( I am not going to tell what I have seen in my coffee cup about my future...:))

Sunny Sunday...

Dear my friends,
Last saturday I was so tired with houseworks. But Last sunday was so sunny for me. The weather was sunny. There was no housework to do. I made these pouchs for my needles and hooks. So easy to make. Do you remember the snake skin fabric which I had made a skirt for myself. I had some small parts of fabric after I had finished my skirt. They were so small so I could not make so big things from the fabric.  so As I always loose my needles and hooks, I sew two pouchs for them.

And finally I want to show you my ' haute couture creation !!' on Saturday morning before housework. Look at my terrible view with my pajamas and ugly hair....:))

But on sunday, I was relaxed with soft and sunny weather. I sit on the balcony of my bedroom. I began to make my ragg crochet pillow project.

Busy Saturday and Sunny Sunday.... Now It is monday... I wish a good monday for all of us...

3 fleece blankets for my puppies...

My Dear Friends,
you know, my girl foxy had 6 babies 22 days ago. They are growing very well. I made blankets for them. I made only 3 blankets but I ll made 3 blankets more for puppies. I bought fleece fabric for blankets. The fabric is very cheap. Only 2 US dollars per one meter. I cut the fabric to 6 parts and made blanket stictch to the edges. I found how to make the blanket stitch from the web sites, youtube or somewhere..
I made blanket stitch with different colors, white, pink and violet. I ll make 3 more blankets for babies. Here they are...

And finally a cup of coffee with my mother..  But this time decaffeinated coffee for my heart insufficiency. I found decaffeinated coffee. Thank you dear Kristen...

My kitty Mestan is looking to the coffee but he does not want to drink. He wants to play with the spoon..
